A new way to listen to music on your Android phone
A common complaint many users have with their Android phones is that there is no way to change the bass, re-verb, and other levels when playing music. Equalizer Android widget now enables everyone to change the quality of their music for the better and has many unique and great features.
Listen to your music the way it was made to be heard
Equalizer is a simple Android widget that once added to the desktop, will let the user customize how the music sounds. The Android widget comes with a five band equalizer and several other useful additions.
Plenty of options to keep any music fantastic busy
Bass Booster: Ever listen to a song on your Android and the bass is way too quiet? Now you can easily adjust the bass levels to perfection.
Preset Settings: If you are unfamiliar with equalizers and how to edit them to get the results you are looking for you can have no worries, there are eleven preset settings that can be tested to see which setting you prefer. The preset equalizer settings that are included in this widget include classical, dance, flat, folk, heavy metal, hip hop, jazz, pop, rock, and latin. I listed to one of my favorite jazz songs of all time, Miles Davis’ Blue in Green and noticed a huge difference in the sound quality once I changed the preset from none to Jazz.
Five Band Equalizer: The five band equalizer included in this Android widget is all you need to change the sound and get it just right.
Compatible with all major music players and programs
Equalizer works extremely well with pretty much every android music player and even the streaming music applications. The default music player, Pandora, Winamp, Realplayer, and Ubermusic all sound much better with the addition of Equalizer music settings. However, you must have the newest Android Gingerbread update which is version 2.3. Unfortunately, if you have not upgraded or are unable at the moment to upgrade your firmware, you will not be able to use the Equalizer Android widget.
The best way to improve your Android’s music player
The Equalizer widget is a simple way to get the most out of your music. You can simply add the Android widget to your home screen and from there every time you play your music through your speaker or headphones, you can have amazing and clear music.

I recently purchased a Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S and disappointed with the fixed preset equalizer. This download has fixed that issue by giving me the options I wanted.
I know there is a fix to mod the player to the walkman version from the new Xperia S, but it is fiddly – Eq is far easier.
Eq works well and the sound can be taylored more to taste. The interface is straight forward and easy to understand.
For me a good app.
